Presentation: “Building A Eucharistic Marriage: How to Rekindle Our First Love” by Greg Schutte

Description: Prior to marriage, couples spend an enormous amount of time getting to know each other and working hard to win the heart of their loved one. However, somewhere in marriage, often couples lose sight of the vow they made to each other: to love and to cherish. Based off of his marriage curriculum, Discovering Our Deepest Desire (, Greg will be presenting the building blocks to revitalizing marriages through developing and nurturing, what he calls, ‘Eucharistic Marriages.’ Join us for inspirational stories, music and laughter as we explore the keys to rekindling love in your marriage. Greg Schutte is the Director of Marriage Works! Ohio, a collaborative ministry that seeks to help build healthy families and healthy communities by providing marriage and relationship education for couples. A published author and musician, Greg has been married for 23 years and is the father of seven.

What is marriage?
It is a true and authentic vocation,
as are the priesthood and the religious life.
Two Christians who marry
have recognized the call of the Lord in their own love story,
the vocation to form one flesh and one life from two, male and female.
- Pope Francis

What can you do to enrich your marriage? Here are a few quick ideas ...

1. Pray together.
2. Read encouraging and helpful books (separately or together). For a list if ideas, check out this page.
3. Practice Natural Family Planning.
4. Grow in your faith.
5. Set aside "date" time with each other.
