Established in 1988, the Diocesan/Parish Share Campaign (DPSC) has successfully enabled the Diocese of Steubenville to promote the Mission of the Church for decades.
On the diocesan level, DPSC funds enable us to educate our seminarians (our future priests), care for retired priests, educate our youth through Catholic schools, religious education programs and youth ministry, assist the poor through Catholic Charities and other local efforts, and much more.
Parishes also rely on this yearly campaign. Each parish is given a target goal. One hundred percent of the proceeds received above that goal are given back to the parishes to be used for parish needs. These proceeds have a proven track record of successfully assisting in a wide variety of needs. From church renovations to parish hall construction, from youth ministry programs to Catholic school expenses, from evangelization initiatives to outreach programs for the poor, the projects and activities funded by the DPSC are endless.
